I have volunteered with the American Red Cross Colorado chapter for a year and a half as a Public Information Officer (PIO). I have also volunteered in a shelter during one of the many southern Colorado fires assisting families with securing shelter and food during their stay as our client.

In the COM 562: Crisis Communication in Global Context course I completed the plan for Washington State Univ., (Spring 2017). I researched and created a MOCK Crisis Communications Plan designed to understand how the ARC needs to be proactive with natural, man-made and internal organization disasters and crisis'. I used the ARC for my semester project since I am a volunteer and know the organization at a local scale.
