County of Pueblo, Colo. | Community Information Volunteer
I worked with the Community Information Manager with Public Relations, event planning, social media and community outreach during the semester. Below are the various campaigns I worked with as the Community Information Volunteer.
PUEBLO, COLO. - Aug. 30, 2017 - Commissioner Garrison Ortiz presented to the Pueblo, Colo., community and media the findings of the Pueblo County Jail Task Force findings to promote the need of a new jail and mental health facility.

I developed the Dept. of Human Services Foster Parents Needed Social Media calendar. I used an Excel sheet to keep the campaign organized. This was a grass roots campaign since DHS does not have a budget to advertise their services and the need for foster parents. A DHS Facebook site was created and promoted through the Pueblo County's Facebook page to invite followers. This campaign resulted in two articles in the Pueblo Chieftain and several Facebook posts. The goal was to inform the Pueblo community of the need for foster parents. Below are Facebook posts created along with the Facebook analytics.

The theme for the 2017 Holiday lighting campaign was celebrating foster parents. The guest of honor has fostered more than 100 boys in Pueblo county. The festivities showed off the courthouse's holiday decorations and the children told Santa their wish to complete the evening.
