Hello! I’m Christina. This is my Communications Portfolio. When I grow up I want to work in Public Affairs/Public Relations.
As a Pathways Candidate with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs in Denver, Colo. I work in the FMS/Occupational Health and Safety dept. as the Administrative support that includes creating content for the Safety bulletin. I also volunteer with the Public Affairs dept. writing articles about veterans and the VA.
In the COMM 4145: Public Relations Writing & Tactics course I completed at the Univ. of Denver (Spring 2018), I created a MOCK Public Relations campaign designed to promote ActivArmor.
In the COM 561: Multimedia Content Creation course I completed at Washington State Univ. (Summer 2017). I used Adobe Creative Suite to design a “Career Transition” campaign.
In the COMM 4144: Public Relations Principles and Processes course I completed at the Univ. of Denver (Winter 2018), I created a MOCK Multimedia News Release Assignment designed to promote the new VA hospital in Aurora, Colo.
I was a professional photographer for 10 years. I created the photography studio "Celebrating Life Art" specializing in artistic images of newborns and their families.
